A man in his 20s has died from injuries sustained during an assault in Listowel, County Kerry, last month, Gardaí have confirmed.
The incident occurred at The Square in the centre of Listowel on Thursday, September 24, 2026.
The man was taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment following the assault but died on Saturday night, October 24.
Gardaí are continuing their investigation and have renewed an appeal for witnesses and anyone with relevant video footage to come forward.
